CMSA's new club of the Year 2011!! Flint Hills Mounted Shooters

Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association® is the Fastest Growing Equestrian Sport in the Nation. Mounted contestants compete in this fast action timed event using two .45 caliber single action revolvers each loaded with five rounds of specially prepared blank ammunition. The Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association "C.M.S.A." has a variety of levels of competition for everyone, ranging from novice levels to the seasoned professional.

The Flint Hills Mounted Shooters club is the newest club in Kansas, formed in 2011 to promote the sport of mounted shooting. The main arena and headquarters of the Flint Hills Mounted Shooters is at TR Ranch, just west of Alma, KS. The TR Ranch arena was built specifically for this sport. Measuring up at 450’ x 150’ including a warm up pen and holding area, the footing is one of the best within a tri-state area.
